Hydrogen Peroxide on teeth?

Today i dip my toothbrush in Hydrogen Peroxide , then I brushed with toothpaste and whitening gel combined. Since then, my mouth has been dry , teeth feel like sand, and my tongue has lost taste.
I’ve done this before and nothing like this has happen. Do you think i should go the dentist ,or waited out ?

Dentist won’t be of much help now. You dried out the tissues of the mouth by overdoing it on the peroxide, that’s all. Peroxide is just a different type of bleaching agent, and it does damage tissue just like the regular stuff in the laundry. Best thing you can do is not repeat todays performance. The whitening gel alone is plenty, if you want whiter teeth that it provides, visit the dentist for a professional job in controlled conditions next time. It’s safer and saner, if you just must have the dazzling white smile. Meantime, just keep drinking plenty of liquid and wait it out. The damaged tissue will slough on it’s own and the sense of taste will return in a day or so. And use a plain old toothpaste without the whitening agent, and skip on the mouthwash until then. You’ve done quite enough to the mucous membranes already. Peroxide in the mouth needs to be greatly diluted, and stuff you can dip a toothbrush in is meant for external use only. So do your mouth a favor, and stick with the stuff designed to be used in the mouth, and use it the way it’s labeled.
